Each ticket gets one team at random. Fewer than 24 tickets? The leftover teams are shared out as bonus teams, spread evenly so no one gets them all.
The tournament runs in Australia from Friday 1 October to the final on Saturday 13 November 2027. 24 teams play in six pools of four.
